Chapter 4

Title: Requiem of the Rising Tide (4/?)
Author: <img height="17" Sadie, Mucc, mentions of alice nine, maybe some others later on.
Rating: PG-13
Warning[s]: A slap to the face.
Synopsis: Somebody gets hit.
Disclaimer: Obviously, I own nobody.

Prologue

Chapter 1

Chapter 2

Chapter 3

Aki blinked, aware of his surroundings. He realized that he kept dozing on and off, the low grumblings of the TV had relaxed him. The bassist awoke as a result of a light pain on his shoulder that was closest to Tatsurou. He looked over; the vocalist was asleep, biting along his shoulder. The taller man’s other arm had rested along Aki’s stomach, gripping his shirt gently. He reached over and poked the vocalist’s cheek; who opened his eyes, glaring a bit at him before pulling his face and arm away until the arm around Aki’s shoulder remained.

“I’ve heard of sleepwalking and talking, but biting? Another way you’re weird.” He teased.

“S-sorry..” For once, the vocalist seemed shy.

Aki ruffled Tatsurou’s hair. “It’s alright. I mean you were asleep. It kind of reminded me of a dream I had yesterday.” The bassist mumbled quietly.

“You had a dream about me already? Pervert.” The vocalist laughed lightly.

“It wasn’t like that at all. You just reminded me a bit of the wolf in the dream.”

“A wolf…? Never knew you were into that~ Tell me what happened.” Tatsurou grinned, teasing the bassist a little.

Aki rolled his eyes at Tatsurou before sighing. “No, I’m not telling.”

The taller man’s lips curled into a small pout, clearly not content with Aki’s answer. “I’ll kick you out..”

“Good. It’s getting late and I should be going soon, anyway. Practice tomorrow.” That is, if Mizuki shows up.

Tatsurou’s expression shifted, and he stared back at the TV. “Okay. You’re probably right.”

Aki was curious as to why the other seemed disappointed, but he decided against asking. “Hmm I never would’ve thought the vocalist of Mucc would be clingy like a girl.”

Tatsurou grinned, staring again at Aki. “You…”

The bassist noticed how the taller man’s arm wrapped a bit tighter around his shoulder. He idly played around with his lip piercing, relaxing into the touch.

“I’m sure you’ll be able to sort things out with Mizucchi…”

“I really should get going.” The vocalist’s arm loosened on him, and he felt that weight disappear.

“If he ends up really upset, what will you do?”

“I can’t help it if I don’t feel the same way. Getting upset would be a result of his feelings for me, but it’s not like I don’t want to be friends with him anymore. He’s not losing me. It’s something he has to understand and accept.”

“You think more logically and realistically, don’t you? No wonder it’s tough being by you.” Tatsurou chuckled. “Wonder how it’d be if you fell in love.”

“I’m not really interested in that sort of thing. I like following my own path. That’s just the way I am, doesn’t mean others have to do the same.”

“From the way you make it sound…would you really be alright with always being alone?”

“That has nothing to do with you. It’s none of your business.” Aki stood up, heading over to slip his shoes back on.

“Are you angry?” Tatsurou followed, watching Aki. “Would you really be content, always being alone?” The vocalist asked again.

The sound Aki heard next was slightly startling to him. He realized it only after the fact, but he had slapped Tatsurou in the face. At least it wasn’t a punch. His hand stung a little, the taller man’s cheek a light shade of red from the blow.

“…Don’t add to the stress I have right now.” He mumbled quietly, hastily putting on his shoes.

“Ki-kun, I--” The bassist chose to listen no more; leaving the apartment and slamming the door.

As he headed back to his car, he regretted acting so impulsively towards Tatsurou. It left him with a bad taste in his mouth, one he wished to get rid of. He realized he was running away and came to his senses before opening his car door. He sighed, shutting it and stood outside his car; finally noticing a pair of eyes on him.

“You followed me.” Aki hid behind his bangs.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to upset you. I was just curious, is all.”

“No, it’s my fault. I just have been dealing with Mizuki-kun and I want to get that over with first.” He looked up at the taller man. “Does it hurt? Maybe you should put some ice on it.”

“I’ll be fine. I’ve been hurt worse before.” The vocalist grinned, but it only aided in making Aki wonder as to what the other had been through in the past.

Slowly, he opened the car door again. “I’d have to get to know you better before answering that sort of question.” He muttered quietly.

“I’ll wait.” A soft smile shone on Tatsurou’s face; slightly dampened by the redness that still lingered from the slap.

Aki rolled his eyes, getting into his car. “I’ll call after practice tomorrow.” He buckled his seatbelt.

“Good luck with Mizucchi.” The taller man laughed.

Aki stared into the other’s eyes deeply before answering. “Thank you.” He shut the door, watching as Tatsurou waved at him as he pulled out his car and headed home.

The next day Aki felt some nerves throughout his body but pushed it away as he went to practice. Opening the door of their rehearsal room; he realized it was empty, save for Mao. Aki knew he was early, so he didn’t find that unusual. The shorter man sensed Aki’s presence and nodded in acknowledgement.

“Mizu-kun won’t be in today. Should we cancel or not?” The smaller bandleader asked.

Aki sighed. If they decided to cancel, would things really be okay? He didn’t want problems between himself and Mizuki to deter practice, but he was starting to feel the effects of dealing with it although he didn’t state that out loud.

“I’m fine, so we don’t have to cancel.”

“I’ll call the others to say that it’s been rescheduled.” Aki blinked in surprise, then nodded.

The pair had known each other long enough to know such things, and the bassist was thankful towards Mao for that.

“…T-thank you.” He mumbled incoherently, knowing the vocalist would understand.

He sat down on the couch, listening as Mao called the remaining members about how practice was cancelled. Remembering that he had to call Tatsurou, he waited until Mao was finished to say a quick ‘later’ to the shorter man.

“If you need someone, you know you can call me.” Mao’s face formed a small, warm smile.

Aki nodded, taking his leave. On the way to his car he called Tatsurou. Once again it took a while for the taller man to answer.

“Mmm Ki-kun. You keep returning to me~ I bet your bandmates’ll start to get jealous.” The vocalist teased, but what Tatsurou said got Aki to thinking.

I do seem to return to Tatsurou. I don’t know why…maybe I’m just using him to escape things related to Sadie a bit. That’s probably why Mizuki went to Hiroto-san. But…Tatsurou is persistent with wanting to have me call or be near, so even if I’m using him it’s not like he doesn’t enjoy it.

“Practice is cancelled.” He stated, but Aki guessed that the other had already figured that out.

“Let’s go eat, Ki-kun. You’ll pay as payback for waking me up early.”

“Always ordering me around. I’m not your pet.”

“You didn’t have to call. You’re the one that’s obedient to me.” Tatsurou snickered.

“I’ll be over in 10.” He hung up, entering his car.

The drive was shorter than he expected, so Aki was surprised by how quickly he got to the vocalist’s door. He hesitated about knocking, feeling a slight nervousness but knocked anyway.

The door opened, Tatsurou’s face smiling brightly. “Ki-kun, you’re quick. But you just wanted to be by my side faster, right?”

He decided to play along. “You know it.” Aki half-smirked up at the other.

Tatsurou froze a few seconds before responding. “You’re kidding again, aren’t you? Man, your brand of humor is slightly sadistic.”

“I’m a sadist..” He muttered quietly.

The vocalist grinned, a hint of something dark in his eyes. “Ki-kun’s even more interesting than I thought.”

Aki rolled his eyes. “If you want to find out more, all you have to do is read an interview.”

“I’d much rather spend time with you.” The taller man whispered.

“Let’s go.” Aki didn’t know why, but the taller man’s personality was beginning to get to him.

Tatsurou trudged behind him, the bassist opening the passenger door for the other as they got to his car. Aki got in, the pair closed the doors and buckled up. The vocalist looked around Aki’s car curiously; inspecting.

“Where do you want to go?”

“Hm…let’s go to a buffet. There’s this one I know. I’ll give directions.”

Tatsurou’s directions ended up with the pair going around in circles at some points, which frustrated the bassist to no end although he didn’t let it show. They parked at a parking garage, and Tatsurou began to lead Aki. He followed, watching the taller man. He was glad the other was taller; the area they were in was crowded so he was easier to spot because he stood out. Tatsurou’s lithe frame seemed to flow through the hoard; his hair in a small, tight ponytail. The crowd began to worsen, and Aki realized why: the morning rush. He cursed quietly, afraid of being split up. He bit his lower lip lightly and grabbed onto one of the taller man’s wrists. He figured if he held onto the other, it’d be alright. The bassist could tell that he had surprised Tatsurou, who glanced back at him. He felt his hand being shook away from the vocalist’s wrist; instead Aki felt someone’s hand holding his. If there wasn’t a crowd this would just be weird. But if there was no crowd, there’d be no need for this. He squeezed the other’s hand lightly, and they walked a few more blocks through the daily throng. His hand was freed as Aki followed Tatsurou into a restaurant.

A waiter gave them a table and the pair ordered drinks. As they got food, Aki laughed to himself a bit. The vocalist was excessive with grabbing food. He stopped, staring at the bassist.

“Hey, I’m a growing boy. Need to eat well for my growing body.” The taller man pouted; sometimes Aki had a hard time believing the other was around the same age as him.

“You’re already overgrown, and our age difference isn’t that much.”

Tatsurou smirked. “I’m pretty tall, aren’t I? I need more food then, anyway.” He poked Aki’s cheek.

“Still always someone taller. It’s overrated, anyway.”

“Such a downer.” The other set down his plate and tugged the corner of Aki’s lips up. “Smile.”

“…Don’t touch me.” He glared a little.

“What’re you going to do about it?”

Aki pulled his face away from Tatsurou’s hands. He realized they felt comforting; they were the same hands he had felt on his face when he was feeling sick. Part of him regretted moving away but he didn’t want things to go further than that.

“…How long did you stay with me the other day?” Aki murmured, curious.

“I stayed with you until Mizucchi got there. It actually took him a few hours.” The taller man’s voice became unusually quiet. “You felt like you were burning..”

“You didn’t have to stay. I would’ve been fine.”

“You’re welcome, Ki-kun.” Aki rolled his eyes as the other smiled. “I think I understand you more.”
“Oh? Good for you.” They finished grabbing food and sat back at their table.

    “I like how you are.”

Aki blinked, surprised. “I don’t really understand you.”

“I’m not all that complicated. Not much to look forward to.”

“You like playing around with things selfishly, but then you’re really loyal to whomever you care for.”

The taller man fidgeted. “You’re observant. I wonder if that’s all you’ve thought about me.”

Aki thought for a moment. “No.”

“What kind of things, Ki-kun?” Charcoal-outlined eyes stared at the bassist.

Tatsurou…he’s cat-like, but also like a stray dog. He gets amused by simple things; is kind. Messy, and he likes enjoying himself. He’s rather optimistic, like nothing bad could phase him and is understanding. He’s certainly overgrown..Aki wondered if that meant he was strong. He enjoyed teasing and joking. Mizuki-kun’s like that only not so much with me. He doesn’t tease as often. Aki thought that maybe the guitarist was afraid of making him mad. Tatsurou invades a person’s space even if he’s unwanted. It’s not like that’s bad, I’m just not used to it. He probably does that with everyone.

“Hmm you must think about me a lot. Glad to know I’m special in your heart.” Tatsurou laughed before shoving food in his mouth.

“You’re just strange.” He sipped on some water.

“That’s what you always say. Maybe you’re the abnormal one?”

The vocalist grinned widely. Deep within himself Aki felt a tug but instead munched on his food. There’s no reason for me to think anything of him. After all, he’s just working with Mizuki-kun in a side-project; nothing more. That felt even cold to the bassist. We’re friends, I guess. He stared down at his food, lost in thought.

“…Ki-kun?” Aki looked up, hiding behind his bangs.

“What?” He noticed as one of the vocalist’s distinct hands came towards his face, moving the hair out of his eyes.

He sat still as the other did so, watching the taller man. “Tatsu-kun…” The bassist murmured.

“Don’t hide.” The other smiled; his hand resting on Aki’s cheek.

The bassist swatted carefully at Tatsurou’s hand. “Stop it.”

“Okay.” The taller man moved his hand away, stuffing his face again.

The pair ate in silence; Aki finished first and watched Tatsurou. Lazily, he pulled out a cigarette; lighting it and having his first hit.

“Kiiiiiii-kun…” Tatsurou stared with puppy dog eyes.

“Not sharing.” Aki took another drag.

“So mean…” It wasn’t like Aki didn’t want to share, his pack was just fairly empty.

The vocalist had grabbed some desserts and was gnawing on them. Abruptly he pulled Aki’s cigarette from his lips and pushed a mini-éclair into the bassist’s mouth. Blinking at the others, he bit on it as Tatsurou fed him. He noticed how the taller man stole a couple of puffs of his cigarette, slightly annoyed. Finishing the éclair, he licked his lips and felt the other’s bright smile on him.

It felt like Tatsurou still did things that put Aki off-guard. It wasn’t annoying, although the bassist would never mention it to the other. Tatsurou got on his nerves in a good way, his company was warm and…safe? Even though the vocalist invaded his space it wasn’t with malevolent intent.

He stood up, taking out some money and placing it on the table. The taller stared up at him, surprise in his face along with a flash of something else. Was it sadness? Longing? Worry? Aki didn’t try to fathom and tried to forget the face that the vocalist showed him. As he left Tatsurou alone; he felt a pang of anger. Hatred at himself for doing such a thing to someone that seemed to really care for him.

Title: Requiem of the Rising Tide (3/?)
Author: <img height="17" Sadie, Mucc, mentions of alice nine, maybe some others later on.
Rating: PG-13
Warning[s]: Some language
Synopsis: Aki feels like he's running around in circles.
Disclaimer: Obviously, I own nobody.

Prologue

Chapter 1

Chapter 2

The next day, Aki felt better. He had something to eat; his fever had disappeared. The bassist was still worried about dealing with Mizuki, but more and more he got the feeling that things would be alright. Although he hadn’t know the guitarist as long as Mao; he thought that as long as they talked it out there would be an understanding.

After he finished getting ready, he left; driving to the area around Mizuki’s place. Luckily, he found a parking spot. He hesitated before knocking on the door, feeling slightly uneasy before brushing it off.

“Mizuki-kun?” He knocked a bit, but there was no answer.

The longer he waited outside the guitarist’s door, the more he worried. He couldn’t hear any sounds coming from the place. After becoming somewhat impatient, he called Mizuki’s home phone, hoping the other would answer. Instead of hearing the younger male’s trademark talkative voice, all he heard was the answering machine. He left a message before calling the guitarist’s cell phone. Once again, Aki had to leave a message. He sighed to himself before calling one of the only people he thought could help. Kei. Mizuki and the drummer often hung out together, so the bassist figured Kei’d at least have some answers. The drummer always appeared to cling near Mizuki, and only seemed to shine brightly when they were together.

“Oh hey! Wine boy! Since I can’t really call you ‘chained’ any more..” Kai laughed, teasing a little.

Aki couldn’t help but be comforted somewhat by the normalcy. “Mizuki-kun. Where is he? He’s avoiding me.”

“Umm..I’m not supposed to tell you. But, maybe someone else’d know too? I know you’re our bandleader and all, but Mizu-kun’s my friend. I want you to both work it out, but I don’t want to betray his friendship so much. I’ll give you a clue; it’s who you’ve known longest.”

The answer was easy to the bassist. “I understand. Thank you, Kei-kun.”

He could almost sense Kei’s smile through the phone. “No problem! Good luck.”

Aki quickly hung up before dialing another number. Out of Sadie, the person he had known longest was Mao. As a result, the vocalist was someone he felt he could trust, one of the few people he knew he could always depend on.

“Wondering about Mizu-kun?” Mao’s voice calmed him.

The bassist smiled slightly, hiding it behind his bangs even though nobody else was around. “Am I becoming that predictable to you? You know me too well.”

“He’s over at Hiroto-san’s. I don’t know where that is, though. Sorry that I’m that much help.”

“It’s better than nothing. I can ask Tatsurou-san if he knows. Even if he might not know where it is, he should have Hiroto-san’s number.”

“Figures you’d find a way. It always feels like you can just get through anything. Please make sure not to treat Mizu-kun too harshly. I know how cold you can seem at times.” The vocalist quietly laughed.

    “Thanks. Later.”

As he headed back to his car, he started dialing Tatsurou’s number. It felt as though the vocalist would never answer.

“Fucking scared me, Ki-kun. I ended up spooking my cats by stepping on Tet-chan’s tail. What’s up? How did things go with Mizucchi?”

He imagined the scene with Tatsruou’s cat, and chuckled a little before answering. “He’s at Hiroto-san’s. Do you know where he lives, or at least a number?”

“Pon? I don’t know where he lives, but I have his number. Lemme see…” Aki could hear the shuffling of papers as he got into his car and waited.

The bassist figured Tatsurou was messy, so it didn’t surprise him at all when it took a while for the vocalist to give him Hiroto’s number.

Aki wrote the number on a piece of paper. “Thanks. I’ll call you back when this is over.”

“Wait. Umm what if Pon doesn’t answer? I only have that cell number, so if he doesn’t; you’ll have to wait until Mizucchi comes back or something.”

“I’ll either wait for him or figure out where Hiroto-san lives.”

“Jeez, you really don’t give up…whichever you decide, I’m going with you.”

“You don’t have to. You’ve already helped.” Aki played around with his lip piercing.

“Call me after you’ve called Pon.”

He started to feel a bit irritated by the vocalist. “I don’t have to.”

“But you will.” He could feel Tatsurou’s grin through the phone, and shuddered a little. “I’ll treat you to some booze and cigarettes~”

Mizuki must’ve told him some of my weaknesses. “Deal. You better not fake out.” Part of him felt as though he was being a sucker, but at least he would be getting something out of it.

Aki didn’t mind the other’s company; it felt as though they kept testing each other out, especially Tatsurou. “Later, Ki-kun~”

“You better quit calling me that.” He grumbled.

Tatsurou laughed. “Think of a nickname for me, then.”

He thought a bit and then answered. “Later, Tatsu-kun.”

After he dialed Hiroto’s number, he tapped on his leg quietly. It felt as though he was in a wild goose chase, or as if he was a chicken running around with its head cut off. His mind ran wild with multitudes of curse words as nobody answered. Aki felt a bit lost before dialing Tatsurou’s number again.

“…” He didn’t feel like talking.

“Pon didn’t answer, right? Hey, it’s okay. I’ll give you the address to my place. It’ll be alright.”

The bassist sighed, still not saying anything. He vaguely recalled writing down Tatsurou’s address, then hardly recollected the drive to the vocalist’s place. He only snapped out of his stupor after he’d knocked on the taller man’s door.

“Come on, don’t just stand there.” Aki looked up at him.

Apparently, he had stood there for a few seconds dumbly and hadn’t even remembered Tatsurou opening the door. He followed the taller man in quietly, slipping off his shoes. Aki noticed the pets that lingered around the apartment, one of which rubbed against his legs. The bassist felt that the animal suited Tatsurou; for he seemed rather cat-like himself, albeit more like a stray. Or a stray dog…Aki thought to himself. A stray..because he seems to just do his own thing, without much to regard to others. A cat because they’re selfish. A dog because he seems loyal. Or maybe I just think too much.

He forced his thoughts on the vocalist aside as Tatsurou had told him to ‘make himself at home.’ Aki sat on the couch; although it seemed a bit worn it was comfy, which the bassist was thankful for. He glanced around the apartment. It was slightly messy just as he thought, but a sort of ordered messy.

He felt his space being invaded as the vocalist sat close to him, staring intently. “Feel better than yesterday?”

“In some ways, yes. In other ways; no. My hangover’s gone.” He shrugged.

“I’m sure things’ll work out soon. Loosen up, man.”

“I know. You’re right.” He closed his eyes and by the time he had realized Tatsurou was gone, the other had returned.

“Here.” Aki opened his eyes, taking a beer from Tatsurou.

The vocalist sat near him again, only this time he could feel a light weight on his shoulders; the taller man had his arms around them a bit. In some ways, it comforted Aki even though he knew that it shouldn’t, so he gently moved out from under it. Tatsurou blinked at him before opening his can; the bassist could faintly hear a ‘my bad’ coming out of the vocalist’s mouth.

“You’re always off getting something done. Do you take time for yourself? It feels like you don’t enough.”

“Life is too short to waste. I’d rather get this over with quickly, than have it loom over Mizuki-kun, myself and the band. That way we’ll be able to enjoy things without something like that to bother us.”

    “…Are you ticklish?”

“No.” Aki sipped his beer slowly, taking his time.

“Oh.” The vocalist sounded a bit disappointed.

    “Why?”

“Nothing…ah, Mizucchi told me a lot about you.”

“So…?” He looked over at Tatsurou.

“I’m just curious. He seems to like you a lot. It made me wonder about you, you know? About what you’re like…so I told him I wanted to meet you, is all. And then this stuff happens.”

“People are generally more curious about my bandmates.” In a way, Aki sort of resented the fact but it meant he wasn't bothered as often.

“Well, I’m not one of them.” The bassist could feel the honesty coming from Tatsurou’s words.

“….” Aki stared down at his beer.

“He said that you come off as cold, and even though you are at times; part of you is warm. You’re strict but it’s more like tough love.” The vocalist smiled at him softly.

“What are you trying to get at?” The bassist couldn’t help but feel curious.

“People shouldn’t overlook you, is all. They’re missing out. Their loss..so maybe my gain?” Tatsurou laughed lightly.

“Says you.” He drank some more.

“Aww I love you too.” The taller man grinned, joking.

“I’ve been wondering when you’d say that since I fell for you the moment I saw you.” He looked seriously into Tatsurou’s eyes, holding a straight face even though he was joking.

“Fuck! You’re kidding, aren’t you?! So horrible.” The vocalist grumbled before chugging more beer.

“You’re the one that almost thought that I was being serious.”

“Oi, are you saying I’m stupid? I’ll kick you out.” Tatsurou’s face changed into a small pout as he poked Aki’s shoulder.

    “You wouldn’t.”

The vocalist sighed, slightly defeated. “You’re right.”

The pair sat together quietly for a while, finishing their beers.

“How do you feel about Mizucchi?”

“Never thought you were a gossipy girl.” Aki chuckled.

“It’s not like that! Mizucchi and I are friends, so I’m curious.” The vocalist huffed a little.

Mizuki…he had to think a while. The guitarist was younger, and in a way tended to follow trends as he blogged often. It was good in in that it allowed him to connect with the fans more. He seemed to enjoy Aki’s company and it was like he was a ray of sunshine bursting through the bassist’s dark clouds. Because they were in the same band if they were together; it would be rare they’d be apart but sometimes Aki liked being on his own. Even though he knew the guitarist was good at being able to tell when he wanted to be left alone, it’d still bother him a little. Mizuki was nice, friendly, perverted, outgoing; they shared some similarities yet were different. There were things about him that were definitely alluring to the bassist; but he wasn’t sure if he wanted their relationship to develop further. He kept getting the feeling that he’d have to turn the guitarist down politely. The fact that it felt as though Mizuki had run away rather than face things with Aki was something he didn’t like. Even if it was something painful to the bassist, if he felt as though it was something that needed to be done he’d do it. Sure, Mizuki could also be taking his time; but he could’ve at least called to say that. It felt a bit to Aki like a slap in the face, as if Mizuki didn’t trust him enough with things; yet he trusted Mao, Kei, and even Hiroto more yet he knew Hiroto the least. Maybe he’s afraid, but you’ve got to face that stuff someday. It’s unavoidable.

“Mizuki-kun and I’ll talk about it. I’ll tell you after.”

Tatsurou nodded, not pressing him on the subject. “I’ll be waiting.”

“You must be getting a kick out of me running around like this.” He rolled his eyes.

“Not really. You’re just worried, aren’t you? Trying so hard to work things out. Ki-kun’s a good person.” The vocalist purred.

“I’m just dong what I feel needs to be done.”

“Why you’re a band leader..” Tatsurou grinned, putting his arm over Aki’s shoulders again.

This time, Aki didn’t pull the taller man’s arm away. He watched as the vocalist pulled something out of his pocket.

“Here. Mizucchi kept saying that these were the kinds of cigarettes you like.” He handed the pack to Aki, who put it away.

“Thanks. You’re always doing stuff for me. You don’t have to, though.”

“Consider it as payback for spending time with me.” Tatsurou nodded.

    Aki chuckled. “You’re weird.”

“And you’re not?” The vocalist teased.

“You’re just nice. Like I said before, it feels like that’s uncommon now. And when people are, a lot of times it’s fake. You’re genuine.”

    “Ah…thank you.” Tatsurou said quietly.

The taller man reached for the remote on the coffee table and turned on the TV. The pair watched the screen silently. Aki remembered again that Tatsurou’s arm was around his shoulders, but paid it no mind. The dull sounds of the TV helped Aki relax for the first time he had in days.

Title: Requiem of the Rising Tide (2/?)
Author: <img height="17" Sadie, Mucc, maybe some others later on.
Rating: PG-13 this time.
Warning[s]: Some gore.
Synopsis: Aki wakes from a deep sleep and realizes something.
Disclaimer: Obviously, I own nobody.

Prologue

Chapter 1

Aki’s eyes fluttered open slowly. Through the darkness, he felt a weight on his stomach. He never remembered removing it but his shirt was off. His eyes adjusted to the shadows and the figure on him revealed itself to be a wolf, staring down at him. Cautiously, he moved a hand to touch the canine’s head; petting it. The fur felt soft underneath his fingers, and the wolf moved its head into the touch, appearing slightly content. It licked his fingers lightly as he moved his hand away. The gaze of the creature went back towards his own eyes, and Aki felt as though he was being hypnotized. He didn’t feel afraid of the beast; the only thing he felt from it was comfort.

In a quick movement, the wolf lunged at him; biting into his stomach and chest. He felt him body being torn apart, yet it didn’t seem painful. Instead it felt calming, as if an invisible weight was being pulled from him and he watched the wolf quietly. He could sense blood slipping from his body, staining the sheets in crimson; but he paid that no mind. Once the wolf got to his ribcage and organs, the creature swiftly pulled his organs out. Instead of eating up his intestines, stomach, liver and such the creature tossed them aside; as if they weren’t important. Aki could feel the canine reaching into him, his lungs left his body yet he could still breathe. Finally, the beast reached for his heart but instead of pulling it out rapidly like his other organs, the wolf pulled it out carefully; as if it were fragile. It seemed like Aki’s heart was what the creature had been searching for all along, and the beast showed it off to Aki; as if it were a cat proudly showing its owner that it had caught a mouse. He could see the heart within the wolf’s bloodstained jaws, and the canine began nibbling at it slowly, in a way so that it could enjoy the action for a longer period of time. Aki’s eyes succumbed to darkness once more, getting pulled into sleep yet again.

He awoke with someone’s hand on his, and looked down at himself. He was still altogether; the wolf had been just a dream. He was wearing what he had wore earlier in the day; and through the light guessed it was evening. His eyes searched over and saw Mizuki’s hand on his; the guitarist had grabbed the chair from his desk to sit closer to the bassist. The younger was in a deep sleep, a hint of a smile on his features. Aki stirred his hand a bit, and Mizuki opened his eyes, smiling at him warmly.

“I’m glad you’re okay! I was so worried when Tatsurou-kun called about what happened.” The bassist sat up, looking at him.

“Weren’t you sick or something? You shouldn’t be the one taking care of me if you are.” Aki mumbled, still slightly worried about Mizuki.

The other pulled his hand away from Aki’s, and looked at him a bit more seriously before his smile returned. “I’m fine. It was nothing, really.”

It felt to the bassist that Mizuki smiled just to reassure him, yet he got the underlying feeling that there was something wrong that he couldn’t place. “Are you really sure about that?” Instead of hiding his eyes, he looked straight at the guitarist’s gaze.

Mizuki blinked, taken aback a bit. “I’m really okay! Honestly, you’re always so serious.” He laughed, the sound seemed hollow to Aki’s ears.

“How did I get back?” He could estimate how, but Aki preferred knowing details anyway.

“Tatsurou-kun carried you. He called not long after you passed out, asking me where you lived and explained the situation. We agreed to meet here. He got here first, used your key to get in and set you down. He stayed until I got here. I would’ve been quicker if it hadn’t been for the traffic. He just didn’t want to leave you alone, it seems. Must’ve been worried..ah he said to call when you got up.”

Mizuki pulled out his cell phone, re-crossing his legs. His story seemed honest to Aki, so he believed it. The bassist was a little surprised by how Tatsurou had handled the situation; even though they had just met he had taken good care of Aki. He found it strange, for someone to be that kind seemed rare so he noted that he had to do something to at least make it up to the vocalist and thank him.

Aki watched the guitarist as he waited for Tatsurou to pick up, his mouth turning into his usual grin as the vocalist did. “Tatsurou-kun! Yeah, he’s awake. He seems better now. You want to talk to him? Hold on.”

Mizuki handed the phone to Aki before heading out of the room. “Do you always pass out around someone that makes you nervous? Aki-san certainly is faint of heart around attractive people.” Tatsurou teased, laughing.

Aki guessed that if Tatsurou was there, the vocalist would likely have invaded his space as normal and rolled his eyes; ignoring the remark. “Thank you for earlier…” He murmured.

Tatsurou’s voice switched from light-hearted to a more serious tone. “I just did something any respectable guy would’ve done in that situation, nothing more.”

“I don’t think people would do that as often as you believe. Human beings aren’t really that good-natured.”

“You don’t have much faith in people, do you? Yet I helped you out, even though we just met. Mizucchi came over as fast as he could, even though he seemed afraid of seeing you earlier. I’m sure if your other bandmates knew, they would’ve come as well.”

He had to admit that Tatsurou was right, although he hated being wrong. “Why did you help me?” He whispered, playing with his lip piercing.

The vocalist laughed lightly. “Mizucchi really cares a lot about you, you know? He told me about you before you and I met. Surely, he’d feel sad if something happened to you. He and I are friends, and I’d like to be friends with you.”

Aki was intrigued; most people seemed more interested in his bandmates. “Just because we’re both in bands, that doesn’t mean we have to be friends. Same things goes for the fact that you and Mizuki are friends.”

“Then let’s just start getting to know each other more.”

The bassist blinked. “Why are you so curious about me?”

“You seem like an interesting person.” Tatsurou just left it at that, and his answer was a simple yet meaningful one to Aki. “Anyway, I should let you go to have some alone time with Mizucchi. Since you seem to miss me a lot, I’ll stop by later.” The vocalist teased.

“Don’t you dare come over.” He muttered lowly.

“Hm? What was that? Did you say something? I’ll see you later not matter what you say. Bye, Ki-kun!”

Aki heard the vocalist hang up, closed the cell and searched for Mizuki. The guitarist had made some tea for him, and was lounging on his couch. He handed the younger man back his cell, sitting next to the other before sipping tea quietly.

“How was shopping with Tatsurou-kun? Other than you passing out, of course.” Mizuki smiled warmly at him.

“He’s…weird.” Aki could think of no other way to explain it.

The guitarist laughed lightly. “That’s pretty obvious. He’s a lot of fun, though. Definitely a good guy.”

He sighed, not really wishing to speak more. His headache had subsided and he felt healthier than he had earlier. Mizuki shifted, crossing his legs once again. He was unusually quiet, and leaned against Aki a bit.

“Do you really not remember last night?” The guitarist asked, quietly.

“Something happened, didn’t it?” Mizuki shifted away from him, the pair staring at each other. “Tell me.”

Mizuki’s cheerful expression pushed his fears aside. “Nothing, you’re being silly. You should take a shower or something. Might make you feel better.”

He drank more of the tea that the guitarist had made for him; listening as the other chattered endlessly on multiple topics ranging from silly to more serious ones. After finishing his tea he headed towards the bathroom, closing the door behind him. Aki stared at the mirror; his appearance didn’t look as bad as he thought it would.

He removed his clothes, his pale skin reflecting in the mirror; yet he had stopped looking at himself. Turning the water on, it felt comforting on his skin like the rain had, like how Tatsurou’s hands had felt, like when his guts were being taken out by the wolf. The shower seemed to Aki like an eternity yet lasted for no longer than usual and he stepped out. Turning the water off, he wrapped a towel around his waist; drying his hair with another before staring at his reflection again. His complexion looked better, but he noticed of marks on his chest. Taking a closer look, he realized what they were. Ideas in his head finally clicked together before he got out of the bathroom and discovered that Mizuki was gone, save for a small note.

Not feeling well again. Hope you get better soon. I’ll have one of the others call you later or something. Take care of yourself!
            ~Mi

He crumpled the letter in frustration, and if he had been a weaker person; he would’ve fallen to his knees. Faintly, he heard a knock at the door but didn’t care. He remembered few details, but sensed that he and Mizuki had slept together. The knocking grew louder and he heard his name being called, but that didn’t change the fact that Aki had sleep with -his- guitarist. Regaining his composure, he ripped the letter up before throwing it out and opening the door.

Tatsurou quirked an eyebrow as he looked over the bassist, who still just had a towel around his waist. “A-ah I knew there was something going on between you two! Sorry for interrupting..” The vocalist teased a little, but Aki could tell the other was really surprised.

“There’s nobody else here.” He opened the door more for Tatsurou. “Come in.”

Tatsurou entered, slipping off his shoes as Aki closed the door behind him. The bassist headed off to his room to get dressed, while the taller man lounged on his couch. When Aki returned, he noted how relaxed the other seemed; as if even though he had stress he could never be defeated. The bassist sat down nearby, but further from Tatsurou than he had sat with Mizuki. He wasn’t comfortable enough yet to be close to the vocalist.

His hair was still wet, framing his face. “You didn’t have to come over.”

“I wanted to check up on you.” Tatsurou inched over to the bassist.

Aki sighed. “You didn’t have to.”

The vocalist watched him seriously. “Something happened.”

“Quit being nosy.” Aki glared at the other.

“But I want to help out. Especially since Mizucchi cares a lot about you.”

“Mizuki-kun and I slept together last night, I think.” He turned his face away from the taller man’s gaze, his expression unreadable.

“Did you even ask to make sure that was the case?”

“No. If I say something to him, maybe it’ll screw up the band.” Sadie meant a lot to Aki, and he didn’t want to ruin it.

“You’re really protective of Sadie, aren’t you. No wonder you’re one of the bandleaders.” Tatsurou grinned softly at him.

Aki’s gaze returned to the vocalist, and he felt like smiling back; the taller man’s smile seemed contagious. If his hair had been dry, he would have hidden behind his bangs and smiled as well. Instead, the bassist opted for biting his lip a bit, staring straight into Tatsurou’s eyes.

The vocalist moved, tilting Aki’s face towards him. “So stubborn, being serious most of the time..I bet you have a calming smile.”

Aki moved his face away from Tatsurou’s hand, although the contact felt pleasant to him as it had earlier. “I’ll ask him about it. Since we’re friends, I’m sure if we talk things out; it’ll be okay.”

The taller man chuckled. “You’re strong, aren’t you? Facing things head-on rather than being a coward and let things be.”

“I’m just doing what I think I should. If I don’t it’ll continue to eat away at me.” He shrugged.

“Hmm..I suppose you’re right. Anyway, I should get going. I’m supposed to hang with the rest of my band tonight. I’ll give you my number.”

Tatsurou got up, sifted through his pocket and pulled out an empty gum wrapper. He reached over on Aki’s coffee table for a pen and messily wrote down his cell number for the bassist. Aki rolled his eyes as the vocalist handed over the scrap.

Getting up, the bassist led Tatsurou out to the door, the taller man pulling his shoes on before reaching it. “Call me soon, alright? Tell me how things turn out, or just call to hang out.”

Aki nodded before shutting the door after the other had left. Quietly, he could hear the vocalist humming a tune as he headed back to his bed; consciousness fading into the depths of sleep.
Title: Requiem of the Rising Tide (1/?)
Author: <img height="17" Sadie, Mucc, maybe some others later on.
Rating: PG-13 this time.
Warning[s]: Just a little bit of language.
Synopsis: Aki heads out to go shopping with Tatsurou.
Disclaimer: Obviously, I own nobody.

Prologue

Aki knew Mizuki’d be late; the events of last night most likely had taken a toll on him. The bassist himself had a pounding headache. The guitarist had still seemed cheery during the morning when he had woken up at Aki’s place, but he wasn’t sure if that was an act or not. None of my business…the bassist shrugged it off. He noticed someone tall and familiar-looking come up towards him; with raven hair and smoky eyes.

“Aki-san, right?” He looked up at Tatsurou, inspecting the other.

“Mizuki’ll probably be a bit late. He and I were drinking last night; he seemed fine this morning when he woke up at my place but you never know.” Aki shrugged.

Tatsurou’s eyes darkened a little, and he playfully prodded Aki’s shoulder with his elbow. “I knew there was something going on between you two..” He laughed.

The bassist sighed and rolled his eyes. He tried to gather thoughts of the night before, but his mind was still clouded from the alcohol; so he just ignored the other’s comments.

Tatsurou’s expression turned calm, and Aki felt the vocalist’s eyes on him. “Are you always this quiet, or are you just shy around me?” The taller man teased, poking Aki’s shoulder once.

So far his impression of the vocalist was of someone aggravating. Like a cat trying to play around with a mouse; only Aki didn’t wish to play that kind of game. His headache caused him more problems than he wanted to voice, so he just continued to ignore Tatsurou.

The other man’s face went calm again, looking somewhat more serious. “Are you okay?” He whispered quietly.

Aki sighed, not wishing to trouble the vocalist with himself. “I’m fine.”

Hearing his ringtone go off, Tatsurou pulled out his cell phone; a look of apology flashing at the bassist before answering. “Yo…huh? Okay. Alright.” He hung up, messily putting his cell away.

Aki wanted to pry, but he didn’t feel the need enough to.

“Ah…Mizucchi isn’t coming. It seems he’s not feeling well.” The taller man laughed a bit, even though Aki could tell that he was slightly worried.

“I hope he feels better soon. I’ll stop by later today to check on him.” The bassist murmured, worried about his guitarist.

“I’ll go with you, when you do. It’s not like I’ve known him as long; but we’re still sorta bandmates.” Tatsurou nodded. “Let’s go shopping then, okay?”

It felt like even though the vocalist tended to tease and joke, he could still be serious; which was a relief to Aki. “Alright.” He started heading off, the other following behind him.

Aki felt eyes on both him and Tatsurou; who seemed to be trailing him closely. He glanced back and realized the other kept glaring at whomever passed by. It reminded Aki of a rebellious teenager that screamed for attention by doing scary things on purpose so that people would fear him. He cleared his throat and glared a bit at the other, who stared back at him sheepishly; as if he was a kid that had been caught doing something he knew that had been wrong. The pair kept going along their way; Aki continuing to feel Tatsurou’s eyes on him.

He opened the door to Book-off; the vocalist trailing behind him. The bassist felt someone poking his back, and he turned towards the taller man.

“What kinds of books do you read?” Tatsurou stared down at him, curiously.

“Give me a suggestion.” His eyes lingered on the taller man’s face.

“Eh…umm…” The other hesitated, so Aki headed off to look through the shelves.

The bassist could tell that Tatsurou was following him again, and he looked around for books in English. They were good practice to him, and he wanted to get better at understanding the language to be able to reach out more towards foreign fans. In addition, he figured it’d be useful in case Sadie ever went overseas; he’d rather rely on himself instead of using a translator all the time. He found a couple of books that caught his interested as he was lost in his thoughts, almost forgetting that Tatsurou hovered near him.

“Those look hard. Are you good at English? You should practice with me sometime. After all, I’ve been overseas.” The taller man bragged.

Aki stared at Tatsurou. “Just because you’ve been overseas, it doesn’t mean that your English is good.” He thought of Mao, and how eve though the co-leader had been overseas; the shorter man had lost a lot of his skill in the language.

“Are you always this tense? I wonder if Mizucchi were here; if you’d lighten up.”

He thought for a while on the guitarist. Mizuki did seem to loosen him up more; it felt like he knew how to deal with Aki. Even though the bassist was often quiet, Mizuki tended to try and include him; but not in a way that was bothersome. Aki’s mind once again fumbled with trying to remember the night before. If he had done or said something wrong, surely the guitarist would’ve said so. He shrugged his thoughts away, nodding once.

“Probably. But then, I’ve known him longer.”

“So then, if we get to know each other better; you’ll open up more?” Tatsurou smiled a bit.

“Maybe, I suppose.” He muttered, grabbing the books he was interested in. “Are you going to buy anything?”

“Possibly some manga. I’m not sure yet. Or CDs if they have something too..movies, also.”

It seemed to Aki this meant that the taller man’d take a while. Aki liked being more quick and precise, but it seemed like Tatsurou was opposite; spontaneous and slow with his actions. He decided to separate from the vocalist and looked through CDs, but to his dismay found nothing that caught his eye. The bassist decided to meet back up with Tatsurou and found him upstairs, cackling a bit to himself while reading some manga. Other customers stared at him not only because of his height but Aki could guess that Tatsurou often scared people away, perhaps even without knowing it. If Aki had been a manga character, he would’ve face-palmed and had sweat drops at the scene. In the end he went up next to the vocalist, glancing at the shelves a little before staring up at him.

    “You’re disturbing people.” He mumbled.

Tatsurou blinked, pulling himself away from the world of manga before replying. “I didn’t notice. You want to leave, don’t you? Sorry to keep you waiting.”

“It’s alright. No rush.” He sighed; he would’ve pressed the other more if he had felt better.

Tatsurou closed the volume he had been reading and had decided on buying it. The pair headed downstairs, paying for the items they wished to buy before moving towards the door. On their way out, they noticed that it was raining.

“Oh shit. It’s pouring out.” Tatsurou pointed out the obvious. Aki began walking out into the wet weather, but the vocalist stopped him; grabbing his wrist lightly. “You don’t have an umbrella, do you? Aren’t you worried about maybe catching a cold? You’ll get soaked.”

“I don’t mind it. It feels good.” Aki enjoyed this kind of rain, it felt cool across his skin and calming compared to his throbbing headache and the sickness he had gained from the night before.

The other let go of his wrist and grinned before they set out again. Aki could hear Tatsurou trudging along behind him, and at times he could tell that the taller man tended to jump into puddles loudly. Aki felt once again that Tatsurou was an overgrown kid; the way he just did what he wanted. At times the bassist was selfish, so he could relate but he tended not to be childish as the vocalist was. Eventually, he got tired of hearing Tatsurou splashing around; the sound rang loudly through his head much to his annoyance so he glared back at him before continuing along. It seemed that the taller man took pleasure in bothering people, it was like he wanted to push Aki’s buttons to see how the bassist reacted. Once again, Aki felt like he was being toyed with but he guessed that if he ignored the other; it would irritate Tatsurou. He simply wanted to remain calm and at least acknowledge when the taller man was being troublesome, but if needed he’d just go for the vocalist’s weakness and leave him alone.

He headed into a café that he’d been to with Mizuki before; Tatsurou coming along behind him once again. “I hope you don’t mind, I feel like having some tea.”

Tatsurou grinned, his eyes sparkling. “It’s alright, as long as I can put as much sugar in mine as I want. I definitely want cake; too. Better be careful or I might steal yours.”

“I’m not really into sweet things.” Aki rolled his eyes, sighing softly.

Quickly, they were seated and Aki looked around at the menu. It mainly catered towards various kinds of teas and cakes. The bassist liked tea and he figured it’d aid in making him feel better. In addition, he felt cool from the rain; and he idly fixed his hair as they waited.
Their waitress returned; Aki ordered his usual black tea, whereas Tatsurou ordered some iced tea.

The waitress left. “You don’t like tea..?” Nonchalantly he played around with his lip piercing.

“It’s not that I don’t like tea, I just love sugar.” The taller man chuckled.

When the tea came, they both ordered some dessert. The vocalist kept pouring packets of sugar into his tea. The cake he had ordered was even the sweetest one on the list; which didn’t surprise the bassist. Aki himself had picked something simple with fruit as he was more alright with that type of thing.

“You really like sweet stuff, don’t you? Like a little kid.” He chuckled before taking a sip of his tea.

“Since you don’t; more for me. And I don‘t have to worry about you stealing.” Tatsurou laughed, watching as the bassist drank.

He felt like he was burning up, but he said nothing; preferring to watch others as they went about their lives. The silence wasn’t awkward at all, unlike how most people felt with being quiet. The vocalist seemed to be the kind of person that did as he pleased; and in turn, felt alright with others doing what they wished. It made him feel grateful; most people complained of his silence. The taller man seemed more curious about him rather than annoyed or bored, and Aki found that fact to be interesting.

Their pieces of cake arrived promptly, the vocalist staring at his happily before digging in messily. Aki hesitated with his slice; watching the other and laughing lightly, hiding his face behind his bangs.

Tatsurou stopped, surprised. “You’re laughing?” He moved Aki’s bangs, and just as the taller man did so; the bassist stopped, his face turning calm as he stared back at the other. Faintly, Aki could feel Tatsurou’s cool fingertips through his motions. “You’re burning up..” The hand moved away, although the shorter man longed for some sort of coolness on his face.

He shrugged. “I’m alright, really.” Aki began nibbling on his cake, hoping to avoid the subject.

Tatsurou’s eyes were on him, giving him a look filled with a twinge of worry before he started eating again. The vocalist kept stuffing his face, while the bassist ate slowly; wishing to enjoy his cake more. Once and a while he sipped on his tea before eating once again.

The vocalist finished before him and Aki paused. The taller man had gotten a bit of icing near his lips, so the bassist grabbed a napkin and wiped it off. He wouldn’t have minded licking it off but their distance didn’t permit that, Aki didn’t know the other well enough and he didn’t want to do things that he thought could possibly endanger Mizuki’s side-project. He distracted himself by licking a bit at his piercing idly before finishing his cake. Finishing up his tea, the warmth of which felt good along his throat but added to the heat of his body; Aki hoped he would just get over his sickness. Dealing with it was becoming even more irritating for him, and he didn‘t want things to get worse as a result. Tatsurou washed down his cake by chugging the rest of his tea eagerly.

The waitress arrived later with the check, which they decided to split. As they stood in line waiting to pay, the bassist began feeling worse. He wanted to use Tatsurou to keep a better balance, but he didn’t know the other well enough to be alright to. His legs started to feel like jelly; his vision shaking and his head began pounding more. Abruptly, he grabbed onto the vocalist’s arm to keep himself steady, and the taller man looked at him; worry more apparent within his features. He felt the other pull an arm around his waist to bring him closer and help him stand. Tatsurou didn’t tease him, and Aki felt thankful.

“S-sorry..” He murmured softly, feeling horrid but there was no way he could shake away how he felt.

“You don’t always have to push yourself. Let go and relax sometimes…” The other man whispered back.

Aki vaguely remembered Tatsurou paying for the whole thing, wanting to say that he would pay for his share but the words were trapped in his throat. He felt himself being pulled outside; the rain had stopped, the air a bit chilling and still damp. His eyes fell shut and his body went limp. Time was lost to him and he woke from his sleep, yet unable to open his eyes. He noticed that he was being carried, so he shifted his hands so they gripped tighter around the other’s shoulders to make it easier on the one who carried him before drifting back. Eventually, he heard a click and the sound of an opening door which was shut afterwards. He felt himself being sat down on a bed carefully, and was lulled further into sleep as cool hands touched along his face.

Prologue

Title: Requiem of the Rising Tide (Prologue)
Author: akiryu
Pairing[s]: There'll be some in later chapters. I'd like to keep it a secret.
Band[s]: Sadie, Mucc, maybe some others later on.
Rating: PG for now.
Warning[s]: Nothing to say at the moment.
Synopsis: Mizuki decides to tell Aki about joining a side-project; karasu.
Disclaimer: Obviously, I own nobody.
A/N: The first time I started posting a fic on this lj. It's been a while since I've written one. This fic is mainly Aki-centric; inspired by the fact that karasu exists and also having fun with crack pairings. It's short, but then again it's a prologue.

Aki waited in a booth at a restaurant somewhat impatiently. Mizuki had called earlier to meet to ask about something important; what, the dark-haired bassist didn’t know. He took a drag on his cigarette, staring blankly at his glass of wine. The guitarist was a bit late, not that Aki minded as it was nothing new to him.

“Aki-san~” Even though he wasn’t faced towards the entrance, Aki knew Mizuki’s face held his trademark grin.

He felt a touch on his shoulder for a second and rolled his eyes. “Late…”

Mizuki took the seat opposite of him, and laughed lightly. “Sorry, I got distracted.”

Putting out his cigarette, he stared at the other; a hint of curiosity in his eyes. “What’s so important?”

“Ah…some people were wondering if I’d be interested in a mini side-project. Mao-kun said it’d be alright, but he figured I should ask you as well. I was going to anyway, I mean you are our other leader. Can I? Please?” The lighter-haired male looked at him, puppy dog eyes appearing through the lenses of his glasses.

Aki took a sip of wine before answering. “…As long as it doesn’t take away from activities with Sadie, it’s alright. Do what you wish.” He muttered.

Mizuki’s eyes lit up. “I figured you’d say that! That’s so like you.” He grinned again.

“Who else is going to be in it? If you don’t mind telling me.”

“Let’s see..Kenzo of ayabie, dunch of jealkb, Hiroto of alice nine, and Tatsurou of Mucc. If you want, I could introduce you to them sometime.”

“It’s alright. You don’t have to.” He shrugged.

“Hmm you should live a little. I’m hanging with Tatsurou-kun tomorrow. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind it if you came. The more the merrier.” Mizuki chuckled before pulling out his cell phone and began texting, whom Aki guessed to be the vocalist.

He sighed. Mizuki always seemed to drag him around to try things; like an over-excited puppy pulling his owner along by a leash. Not that Aki minded; most of the time it was nice being paid attention to, but at times it was tiring.

The guitarist grinned again at his cell before closing it and putting it away.

“He said yes, of course.” Mizuki smiled brightly at Aki. “I’m going to get a drink. Let’s stay a while, okay?”

He half-nodded, watching as the other ordered a beer; chatting happily with the waiter. The beer ended up arriving quickly to the delight of the guitarist.

“Kanpai yo~ Cheers!” Mizuki clicked his glass with Aki’s and both took a drink. The night would be long, and the following day would be even longer to the bassist.

VINUSHKA

I exchange thoughts with the clouds
I hold my breath
Ahh, it’s just hard shell can’t you see
Is that where the bottom is? The shadow burns me
Ahh, I just want to keep forgetting
Slip your desires into the ants’ nest
Come now, all you have to do now is be reborn again

Let tomorrow sleep and peacefulness will turn to you
Free yourself and go with your razor sharp emotions
Even the twisted flow is the proof that you’re alive
I invite the tearfully indulging tomorrow

The inculcated Dogra Magra
The pain of the mark and the one and only personality
And those colorful eyes all decorated I don’t want them anymore
Is hypocrisy going to come and take it away?
The lonely red stage at night
I dedicate the following to the aspiring leading actor
That’s where the truth is

The small corner of my un-cheatable heart says “I still want to be here”
Who can’t we forgive?
I let them hear my cold voice
And I swear

I will live with my work I scream with this body of flesh that separates heaven and hell
I carve the sins. What will be the proof of my existence if it disappears with the wind?

“I’ve stared at the strong shining moon long enough to be bored
Can’t even turn myself into a werewolf
But just enough to become crazy by the darkness
I want to suck the neck
The emptiness of the remains
I won’t let you sleep
At the age where you just want attention…tonight, I might go crazy for you”

Everyone wants to reach out their hand and grab happiness
But they just end up becoming the monster that lies deep in darkness
The end has already come to life
It will take form at zero and will crawl back into the uterus and rot
Every time this happens, your faces crumble

No one wants to talk about the truth that hurts the ear
The suppressed minds

Compensate the sins and let life be gone

The emptiness of the antithesis
Becomes the choking and crying land
Bury the bones into the common land immersed in thesis
Be burdened by depression
The gritty tsunami takes me away and I smile with bitter tears
Couldn’t understand the value of things
The hanging of the necks at the 13 stairs
Seeing people becoming friendly while clapping hands
That mixes in with sissy thoughts and hurts others
Seeing you like this, it’s just too sad

Splash of blood
Squashing basic instincts
Talk about death

I will live with my work I scream with this body of flesh that separates heaven and hell
I carve the sins. What will be the proof of my existence if it disappears with the wind?

No one wants to talk about the truth that hurts the ear
The suppressed minds

Comensate the sins, and let life be gon

Is it a sin for me to live because I am evil?

RED SOIL

Pressing the megaphone against the apostle’s open ear
Darkness and onanists are in attendance
I press a gun against all the specators’ temple now
And my face lets out a smile every time
Saving
It’s prostitution to the kids who listen from the right and out the left
Twins and seven colors of rainbow
It can’t be saved, the sorrow
I question it all, why oh why?
The deception of sweetly intertwining
It’s the same everywhere
The flowing of blood mixes
I sleep deeply
I carve into my heart the sins
And I live on dying
The sakura blossoms on my wrist
Your beloved self breeds on the corpse of the crow
For the people on the losing end
Is it tears of emptiness?
Burn mercy with the National Anthem and understand death by dying
Justice humps in the sheep yard
What color of skin gathers behind comfort and eats?
The earth sucks the life out and turns itself into red soil
A piece of paper and power circles around in the air
The shot wound to the head of a cow
It’s wide open
The genitals of happiness
The neutered almighty god

DOUKOKU TO SARINU

Colorless and transparent
Limited recklessness
How will you fit in?
Forcing M
Compensation for those you can’t see

Cries In Vain
Go Mad
The vague rebellion
Cries In Vain
Ways To Destroy Your Ambition
Reborn

Faceless
The voice that’s vague, too sweet, and sticky
Every night it increases in my brain and ends up filling my mouth…
I’m Behind You
I know it’s desire opening its mouth, but
What do you want?
Your purely existence
I do not want to know

Water flows to your crooked face
The truth swims
Rot away
Without you

Cries In Vain
Go Mad
The vague rebellion
Cries In Vain
Ways To Destroy Your Ambition
Reborn
No Saving Me
Without not having anyone to blame
I start to go crazy
The Blue empty sky + the bit mark
Where the hell is it…?
Do you live?

Whose fault is it that I can’t trust anymore?
The Sun talks skillfully, bringing in choices that look good on the outside but are just
Dead ends
The body absorbs it all
Even mercy stains the unspoken skin and keeps a secret of those pains that overflow
Rot away
Without you

Cries In Vain
Go Mad
The vague rebellion
Cries In Vain
Ways To Destroy Your Ambition
Reborn
So what if it’s fate, destroy it

Toguro

“Kill the tongue”
“The Silence of the White”
“It bloats as words”
“Eagerness crawls near:

The crumbling temptation has a smiling face
The blurred night bursts
“Cover scars with scars”
“Darkness, Doubt and Human Nature”
“Crave each other like crazy”<br so mount
Shut your eyes and yourself from reality
The loser human drifts forever
It won’t be heard

Shooting of the people that can adapt

The demand and the gathering for the camouflage, the destruction of order in the lines
Reality, entertainment, and the nothingness opens up the wound
You trace the answer with your finger

Dancing Slowly Forever Sick

GLASS SKIN

It comes and slowly stains my heart
That’s been cold, all alone and so tightly closed
The sins are scattered everywhere
They’re around me
I can’t see it
It vainly comes just crashing down
In this sad and forgotten little town
The truth we tend to look the other way from lies down deep

I open out my wings of glass
Up and towards the wind melted future
So just please don’t go
Please don’t go
Be close to you

I lay my hand on top of the heavy and closed-out front door and I pray
The lonely future left for me is one meaning of just living
It comes and slowly stains my heart
That’s been cold, all alone and so tightly closed
The sins are scattered everywhere
They’re around me
I can’t see it
It vainly comes just crashing down
In this sad and forgotten little town
The truth we tend to look the other way from lies down deep

I open out my wings of glass
Up and towards the wind melted future
So just please don’t go
Please don’t go
Wanna be close to you
I’m now forgetting even the colors of your tears and love
So just please don’t go
Please don’t go
Holding on strong to what lies ahead

I bleed as my way of compensating everything to you
How heavy is blood?
Happiness and sadness lies too close

The hand of the child born tomorrow will be just pure and nothing else
I can barely see you with all these tears

I open out my wings of glass
Up and towards the wind melted future
So just please don’t go
Please don’t go
Wanna be close to you
I’m now forgetting even the color of your tears and love
So just please don’t go
Please don’t go
Holding on strong to what lies ahead

The bells of reality rings out loudly from down deep within
And disappears along with the wind

STUCK MAN

The trapped city
Eyes fill with tears
I slip through the alley behind the amusement city holding the child’s hand and I sell
The flesh of fish inside the dead fish’s mouth and the bitter carnival
Bloodstained carnival
Without even knowing it, the good and the evil gets sucked into our lungs
It’s the short play by the Humanists
Heil Jap
The young souls corrode and transform back into lukewarm maggots
Day by day we get used to it and we just take it in like medicine
Just like those things that are genetically modified
Fake God wake up and go to hell
Who throws tombstones to their ideology?
The rose trims again, the neck of the people with their pride highly stacked
Bloodstained carnival
Without even know it, the good and the evil gets sucked into our lungs
It’s the short play by the Humanists
Heil Jap
The young souls corrode and transform back into lukewarm maggots
Shut up
Bullshit
Shut up
Shut Fucker
All things are touched in the head
Escape
The pain of not being able to slice off 1lb of meat
The happiness that lasts in my memory for only 2 days
No one believes the saying, the third time does the trick
But this is the fact
Do what I say
Kill Yourself
You are all mental narcissists
The pleasure of group rape
Fuck the system

REIKETSU NARISEBA

You’re the one that’s lost now

You shallow shit with that sad little look on your face
What don’t you just grow yourself some wings of pity<br
